World-Harmony Art
July 26th, 2010, Chicago, Illinois. The opening reception of the exhibition 'Paintings for World-Harmony' by artist and World Harmony Run founder Sri Chinmoy, was held on Monday, July 26th at Victory Banner's Bookstore and Art Gallery on West Roscoe.
The reception welcomed the World Harmony Run USA team to Chicago as they run through all 50 states of the Union to strengthen international friendship and understanding. Representatives from the Polish, Croatian, Indonesian, Austrian and Serbian consulates attended the reception as well as Jonathan Canning, Acting Director and Curator of the Permanent Collection of Loyola University Museum of Art.
The exhibition will continue through August 8th and features Sri Chinmoy's jewel like artworks dedicated to world harmony.
