Dreyfuss audio book
December, 2010. The audio book version of Sri Chinmoy’s America the Beautiful has just been recorded by Academy Award-winning actor Richard Dreyfuss and was released in mid-November. In America the Beautiful , published by Illumine Press, Sri Chinmoy offers a meditation on the moral and spiritual foundations of America and its promise to the world at large.
Richard Dreyfuss had recieved the inaugural 'America's Promise' award from Illumine Press for his pioneering work in promoting civics in the American classroom at the 28 September official launch party of America the Beautiful.
Earlier this summer, Allan Buchman, Artistic Director of the Culture Project, on June 28th, rang NASDAQ’s opening bell and commenced the trading session by reading excerpts from America the Beautiful
