A Mayor Marvels
February 14th, 2010. Caguas, Puerto Rico. The Mayor of Caguas, William Miranda Marin dedicated a 2 metre high statue of World Harmony Run founder Sri Chinmoy in the Botanical and Cultural Garden of Caguas.
“Sri Chinmoy will live for eternity…It is a privilege for us to have this beautiful statue of Sri Chinmoy in these gardens. We are subscribers to the same philosophy that Sri Chinmoy promoted during more than 40 years of his service to humanity" stated Mayor Marin. In honour of the Mayor's own contributions to world peace, he was presented with the Torchbearer Award by Run organizers.
