Gangane directs a non-profit dedicated to serving the world's children in Iceland. He is also a physical therapist and an avid runner having completed 7 marathons and 2 ultramarathons to date. A student of Sri Chinmoy since 1995, for seven years Gangane has been teaching meditation with heart-warming directness and simplicity enlivened with a light humourous touch.
Basic concentration and meditation techniques were covered throughout the four days designed to reduce stress and improve creativity. A range of inspiring topics were also offered over the course of the workshop for those interested in deepening their meditation experiences.
On hand were numerous workshop staff to manage the many aspects of the workshop, including a display of numerous books on meditation and other meditation aids to enhance the seekers' practice.
