Meditation NYC Aug
August 7 - 9th, 2009. Manhattan. A three day meditation workshop was offered to 300 Manhattanites and surrounding Tri-State natives with seekers coming in from New Jersey and Connecticut. The capacity crowd was treated to 3 days of meditation techniques and insightful ways of calming the all-powerful restless mind. Next 3-day Meditation Manhattan workshop takes place October 2009.
A large team of helpers were on hand for all three days to help in registration, serving food, and just being there. 
A delicious vegetarian meal was served between sessions, prepared by Oneness-Fountain-Heart Restaurant of Queens, feeding attendees both inwardly and outwardly. An International Singing Group, founded by Sri Chinmoy when the members were children twenty years ago, performed single melody line soulful songs composed by Sri Chinmoy to further enhance the meditative atmosphere.
