Hope Knows

September 11th, 2010, Reflecting Pool at Ground Zero, New York, New York. During this year's 9/11 memorial service, the Governor of New York, David Paterson, quoted three short poems of Sri Chinmoy's on hope:

“Born in India, the American author Sri Chinmoy once penned that:

        Hope
          Knows no fear.

        Hope dares to blossom
          Even inside the abysmal abyss.

        Hope secretly feeds
          And strengthens
            Promise.”
