Members of the Sri Chinmoy Centre Who Give Meditation Classes

The meditation classes are given by Sri Chinmoy Centre International members who are seasoned instructors, many of whom have lectured in North and South America, Europe, Africa, Australia and Asia.

Pradhan Balter
is a computer consultant and  owner of the Chicago breakfast house Victory's Banner and student of Sri Chinmoy since 1971. His entertaining style makes meditation easily accessible.

Palash Bosgang
has been studying meditation with Sri Chinmoy for fifteen years. An avid runner and meditation teacher, Palash resides in the New York Woodstock area, working as librarian at Bard College.

Ashrita Furman
lives in New York and has been meditating   35 years. He has set more than 200 Guinness World Records using the power of meditation to increase his inner strength. 

Sujantra McKeever runs Pilgrimage of the Heart Yoga Studio in San Diego and for twenty years has offered over one thousand lectures on meditation, mantras and yoga in dozens of countries.

Gangane Stefansson
directs a non-profit for  children in Iceland.  A student of Sri Chinmoy since 1995, for seven years Gangane has been teaching meditation with heart-warming directness and simplicity.
Devashishu Torpy
was born and raised in London, England and is an avid playwright. He practised meditation for over three decades with Sri Chinmoy and has taught meditation worldwide.

Salil Wilson
is an Australian transplant to New York since 1990, and has been a student of Sri Chinmoy since 1984. He currently serves as the Executive Director of the World Harmony Run, a global running relay.

Jayashri Wyatt
Jayashri works at a SoHo-based arts organization that produces live theatre, concerts and television programming for human rights. She is also one of the organizers of the bi-annual Songs of the Soul music concerts in New York City, and has been a student of Sri Chinmoy since 1998. 

 Ashirvad Zaiantchick
a native of Brazil, practiced meditation for 12 years under the guidance of Sri Chinmoy, and has given free courses on meditation to thousands of people in 25 countries around the world.
