July 9th, 2010, Flushing Town Hall, Flushing, New York. This past Friday evening a free Concert for Inner Peace was offered for the Flushing Community in the Flushing Town Hall, including introductions in Chinese and Korean for local residents.
A full-length DVD of Sri Chinmoy's largest concert in Montreal for an audience of 19,000 was featured.
Various live choral groups performed throughout the concert in the time-honoured tradition of Sri Chinmoy's peace concerts.
A simultaneous art gallery featured lastest reproductions of Sri Chinmoy's paintings dedicated to World-Harmony.
The soul-stirring and meditative atmosphere of the concert lingered long after the concert was over and was a perfect way to spend a quiet July evening in the New York City suburbs.
